DRUMS OF THE OASIS | Desert Tavern Song | Fantasy Folk for D&D (Lyrics Video)

Forty days across the sand, forty nights beneath the moon — and at last the palms rise over the dunes. The caravan has reached the oasis! Untie the loads, light the bonfire and pour the pomegranate wine, because tonight the caravan drummer is calling everyone to dance. DRUMS OF THE OASIS opens DESERT BANQUET — a new saga from THE GRAND BANQUET, where every theme takes you to a different world's feast. An epic desert caravan anthem that keeps getting faster: one hand drum, then two, then a whole circle of drums, with oud, fiddle, deep horns, a bright, strong voice and the whole caravan shouting HEY! HEY! Count the drums with us — ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! — and crash into the final chorus. Every stranger is a friend when the drums begin to roar. 🍻 THE GRAND BANQUET — Different worlds, same table, raise a glass. ────────────────── LYRICS ────────────────── Forty days across the sand Forty nights beneath the moon Now the palms are rising high And the fires will greet us soon! Untie the loads and light the flame Every heart is beating the same! BEAT THE DRUMS OF THE OASIS! (HEY! HEY!) Pour the wine as red as fire! (HEY! HEY!) Dance until the stars are fading Sing it loud and lift it higher — BEAT THE DRUMS OF THE OASIS! Pomegranate in the cup Sweet dates piled on every plate Lanterns swinging in the palms Tonight the road can wait! Travelers from every road Strangers standing at the door Every stranger is a friend When the drums begin to roar! One drum for the long road! (ONE!) Two drums for the sand! (TWO!) Three drums for the moonlight! (THREE!) Four for every hand! (FOUR!) Faster, faster, feel it rising — Faster, faster, here it comes! BEAT THE DRUMS OF THE OASIS! (HEY! HEY!) Pour the wine as red as fire! (HEY! HEY!) Dance until the stars are fading Sing it loud and lift it higher — BEAT THE DRUMS OF THE OASIS! BEAT THE DRUMS OF THE OASIS! (HEY! HEY!)
