Yanmar Hour Meter Repair

It seems these LCD hour meters found on Yanmar, Volvo, and VDO tachometers have a bad habit of going blank so you can no longer see the engine hours. A new Tachometer is expensive and will not help recover the true hours. The solution is to keep the existing tachometer and recover the hours by simply replacing the LCD display.
