RUNNING BEAUTIFUL PERTH (Canada)

Join me for a run through beautiful Perth, Ontario, Canada, as I continue my training for the Victoria Marathon on October 11, 2026. Perth is a small historic town in Eastern Ontario and a place with a special connection for me. My mother grew up here, and it is also where my parents chose to retire. For today's training run, I explore Stewart Park, following its scenic trails along the Tay River, crossing bridges and running beside the waterways that wind through the heart of town. From the park, the run continues into Perth's historic downtown, whose story dates back to the Perth Military Settlement established in 1816. As I build my running distance again on the road to the Victoria Marathon, I'm using these training runs to share some of the beautiful and interesting places where I get to run along the way.
