Katsurahama Park & the Sakamoto Ryoma Statue Facing the vast Pacific Ocean, Katsurahama Beach is one of Kochi's most scenic destinations. It has long been famous as a beautiful place for viewing the moon and is also celebrated in the traditional Yosakoi-bushi song. Overlooking Katsurahama stands the famous Sakamoto Ryoma Statue. The statue was built through a fundraising campaign organized by young volunteers in Kochi Prefecture. They raised 25,000 yen at the time, and the unveiling ceremony was held at 2:00 p.m. on May 27, 1928. Dressed in traditional Japanese clothing, with one hand tucked into his kimono and wearing Western-style boots, Ryoma gazes toward the distant Pacific Ocean. The statue itself is 5.3 meters high, while its total height including the pedestal is 13.5 meters. Every year, for approximately two months surrounding November 15, Ryoma's birthday and the anniversary of his death, a temporary observation platform is installed beside the statue. From the platform, visitors can look out over the Pacific Ocean from almost the same eye level as the statue. Ryuojin Cape, Wadzumi Shrine & Hayataka Shrine At the southern end of Katsurahama is Ryuojin Cape, a headland located at the entrance to Urado Bay. At the top of the cape are small shrines dedicated to Wadzumi Shrine (Ryuogu) and Hayataka Shrine. Wadzumi Shrine Deity: Watatsumi-no-kami Associated blessings: safety at sea, prosperous fishing, prayers for rain and clear weather, business prosperity, and successful relationships. Hayataka Shrine Deity: Yamato Takeru-no-Mikoto, among others. Both Wadzumi Shrine and Hayataka Shrine are administered by Wakamiya Hachimangu Shrine. An observation platform with a direction indicator is located on Ryuojin Cape, offering views of Katsurahama and the Pacific Ocean, where the natural landscape and traditional shrines come together to create one of the distinctive views of Katsurahama. 桂濱公園・坂本龍馬像 面向雄偉太平洋的桂濱，自古以來就是著名的賞月名勝，也是高知代表性的風景地之一，並被傳統民謠《よさこい節》所歌詠。 矗立於桂濱的坂本龍馬像，是由高知縣青年志願者發起募款活動所建立。當時共募集了2萬5千日圓，並於1928年5月27日下午2點舉行揭幕儀式。 身穿和服、雙手藏於懷中，腳穿西式靴子的龍馬，正眺望著遙遠的太平洋彼岸。 龍馬像本身高5.3公尺，連同底座在內的總高度達到13.5公尺。 每年在龍馬生日及忌日11月15日前後約兩個月，雕像旁會設置臨時展望台。遊客可以從展望台以幾乎與龍馬相同的視線高度，眺望雄偉的太平洋。 龍王岬・海津見神社（龍王宮）・早高神社 位於桂濱南端的龍王岬，是一座伸入浦戶灣入口的岬角。 岬角上方建有海津見神社（龍王宮）與早高神社的祠。 海津見神社 御祭神：大綿津見神 御神德：海上安全、漁業豐收、祈雨與祈晴、生意興隆、良緣成就 早高神社 御祭神：日本武尊等。 海津見神社與早高神社皆由若宮八幡宮管理。 龍王岬設有展望台及方位盤，可以眺望桂濱與廣闊的太平洋。自然景觀與神社信仰融為一體，是桂濱獨具特色的景觀之一。 桂浜公園・坂本龍馬像 雄大な太平洋に面した桂浜は、古くから月の名所として知られ、「よさこい節」にも歌われている高知を代表する景勝地です。 桂浜を見下ろすように立つ坂本龍馬像は、高知県の青年有志による募金活動によって建立されました。当時の金額で2万5千円を集め、昭和3年（1928年）5月27日午後2時に除幕式が行われました。 和服姿に懐手、ブーツを履いた龍馬は、はるか太平洋の彼方を見つめています。像の高さは5.3m、台座を含めた総高は13.5mにも及びます。 毎年、龍馬の誕生日であり命日でもある11月15日を挟んだ約2か月間、龍馬像の隣に展望台が設置されます。展望台からは、龍馬とほぼ同じ目線で雄大な太平洋を眺めることができます。 龍王岬・海津見神社（龍王宮）・早高神社 桂浜の南端にある龍王岬は、浦戸湾の入口に位置する岬です。 岬の上部には、海津見神社（龍王宮）と早高神社の祠が建っています。 海津見神社 御祭神：大綿津見神 御神徳：海上安全、漁業豊漁、祈雨・祈晴、商売繁盛、良縁成就 早高神社 御祭神：日本武尊ほか 海津見神社と早高神社は、いずれも若宮八幡宮が管理しています。 龍王岬には展望台があり、方位盤も設置されています。太平洋と桂浜を見渡しながら、海と神社が一体となった桂浜独特の景観を楽しむことができます。
