ON THE RECORD #004 - Vivi | Boogaloo, Salsa and Cumbia & Latin Groove | Vinyl DJ Set

On The Record is built around the music first — curating DJs and selectors who genuinely connect with the sound, culture and setting of each session. For our Tailor Room takeover in The Rocks, as PRECOPEO brought a taste of Mexico City to Sydney, we invited Vivi to dig into the Latin side of her collection. A tastemaker and vinyl selector with a deep love for boogaloo, salsa, cumbia and Latin grooves, Vivi moves through a warm selection of dancefloor cuts, deeper finds and sounds pulled from across the globe. Recorded live at Tailor Room, The Rocks, Sydney, Australia. On The Record is a vinyl-focused platform celebrating rare grooves, deep cuts, forgotten gems and the culture around collecting, selecting and playing records.
