Malm - Original mix

Malm My great-great-great-grandfathers spent their lives working in the mines of Falu Koppargruva in Sweden. This track is an ode to those who laboured there under brutal conditions, extracting the ore on which so much depended. It is a celebration of the fearless spirit that dared to descend into the underworld each day and return with its treasure. CINEMATISK FOLKLORE is a collection of dramatic sagas, told through soundscapes and bass, that draws you into a Nordic cinematic atmosphere. The shared theme of these three tracks is our deep connection to nature, whether through historical places (Malm), otherworldly beings (Rå), or philosophical analogy (Flodens Död). With the help of two of the finest musicians of my generation – Agnes Åhlund and Fredy Clue – these stories are infused with raw presence and rhythmic grooves that, hopefully, make you want to move.
