The Cincinnati East Terminal Railway began operations in April of 2014 across Norfolk Southern's former Cincinnati District. The plan for CCET was to use ex-Alaska railway GP49s for power but at the time operations began, the Alaska geeps weren't yet available. As a stop gap, CCET leased RJCC 3863 for a short time. This video was shows delivery of both 3863 and two of the GP49s to CCET at CP Red Bank in Fairfax and Clare in Marimont, Ohio. It also shows CCET's first run with 3863 along Round Bottom Road in Terrace Park.
