One of the Original creations of Composer Music Director Multi-instrumentalist PSKrishnamoorthy, "neelamaNi maalai maarbaa" is one of the smoothest melodious presentation in the 5 count khaNTa chaapu, from the reservoir of 700+ compositions. Most of the time this melody sounds like SIVARANJANI, but the way the composing is structured, never does one get into the illusion of sivaranjani. This kriti is adorned with a tiara - chiTTaswaram and is studded too with the Saahityam - making it a most complete and comprehensive creation. Swara Saahityam or Swaraaksharam - a forte and a penchant for the composer is also present as mentioned by Padmini Radhakrishnan having gone through the process of choreography.
