😭🙌 OLD SCHOOL GOSPEL MUSIC HITS DIFFERENT! THE SOUND, THE SOUL, THE POWER! There is something about old-school Black gospel music that reaches places in your soul that words simply cannot explain! In this special husband-and-wife collaboration, I join my husband and fellow YouTuber, **RobertBallattTV**, as we react to a powerful compilation of gospel choirs and discuss the history, evolution, and unmistakable sound of traditional Black gospel music. We talk about how gospel music grew out of the Black church, becoming one of the most powerful expressions of our faith, our struggles, our triumphs, and our relationship with God. We also discuss how the gospel music landscape has changed over the years, with contemporary Christian music, worship music, and rock-influenced styles becoming increasingly prominent. But there's something about that OLD SCHOOL GOSPEL SOUND! The powerful choirs, the harmonies, the passion, the call-and-response, and the unmistakable spirit of praise! And then something happened that I wasn't expecting... 😭 I WAS MOVED TO TEARS! As one choir after another began singing “HALLELUJAH” and “AMEN,” I became overwhelmed with emotion. In one particularly moving moment, an entire congregation waved palm branches while lifting their voices in praise! It was absolutely beautiful! This wasn't just music. This was MEDICINE FOR THE SOUL! ❤️ For generations, gospel music has been a source of strength, unity, comfort, hope, and encouragement within the Black church and our communities. Through hardship, suffering, celebration, and triumph, our faith and our music have helped carry us through. And when those voices come together to sing HALLELUJAH, something powerful happens! 🙏 Our music has always helped us express what words alone cannot say. Our faith has united us. Our music has strengthened us.
