This video was inspired by a pair of shoes I saw at Selfridges, it was a Prada shoe with a black background completely covered in pink crystals, I tried it on, but couldn't afford the huge price tag of £ 825. I thought, maybe I could DIY one if I could find the right materials, the main difficulty was the curved heeled shoes. After researching the internet and Ebay for a while, I managed to find what I was looking for. A second hand, used curved heel for only £4.50 + postage from a private seller. I bought the gem glue and the crystals and the work began. It was a very therapeutic experience adding each crystal and observing the transformation from something plain into the most gorgeous shoes I have ever seen. I called them Cinderella shoes. I have worn these shoes twice with different dresses and I had many compliments and admiring glances from strangers, it was overwhelming. In this video, I also show how to shorten a lace dress, it is so easy! I hope you watch the video right to the end to see me wearing these absolutely gorgeous amazing shoes. I also hope I have inspired you to put into practice this interesting idea. You can use any old shoes, even if they have marks and scuffs on them. It won't matter as when you add the crystals nobody will see them. Its also a good recycling idea as you transform something old into something new. Thanks for watching it.
