He Lived in a Rusty School Bus With His Dog — We Turned It Into a Warm Home

#ConstructionTimelapse #TinyHome #REHOME An elderly man and his dog had been living inside an old, rust-covered school bus at the edge of a cold, muddy forest. The bus leaked during heavy storms, several windows were damaged, the interior was poorly insulated, and almost everything inside had been improvised just to get through each day. Then four workers arrived with a plan. They carefully inspected the old bus, removed damaged materials, repaired the floor and roof, treated the rust, replaced broken windows, improved the insulation, installed electrical and water systems, and slowly transformed the abandoned vehicle into a warm, practical tiny home. Inside, the rebuilt bus now includes a compact kitchenette, comfortable sleeping area, built-in storage, heating, lighting, thermal curtains, a small dining space, and even a dedicated bed for his dog. The goal was not to turn the bus into a luxury home — it was to preserve its identity while making it warmer, safer and more comfortable. Watch the complete transformation from a leaking rusty school bus into a cozy home built for a man and his loyal companion.
