Before This Time Is Gone is a song I wrote about my grandson and those little moments you wish you could somehow hold onto forever. The little hands, the little feet, the curly hair, the smiles, the mornings together, and all the simple things that don’t seem so big until you realize how fast they’re passing. One day he’ll grow up, find his own way, and these days will become memories. So this song is really a reminder to myself to slow down, hold him a little closer, and enjoy every minute I’m lucky enough to have with him. Because once this time is gone, it’s gone forever.
