the SIMPLEST adjustable alcohol stove

This is an adjustable ASAP (as simple as possible) stove made from a candy drops tin, a piece of 1" steel tubing with an end cap, a hose clamp, and mineral wool. It takes 15 seconds of preheating for the flame to fully ignite. The adjustment works by opening or closing the air intake, (which is a hole of approximately 1/2" in the can lid), using the tube's own cap. The bottom of the tin is lined with mineral wool to prevent spills and produce a more stable flame, but a cotton rag works just as well. By completely closing either of the two openings, the fire goes out.
