The Last Discipline of Practising the Presence of the Lord | Annah Mogale

The Last Discipline: Practising the Presence of the Lord What does it truly mean to live every day aware of the presence of God? In this biblical message, Dr. Ian Loughor-Clarke explores the last discipline of practising the presence of the Lord and the importance of drawing near to God, knowing Him personally, listening to His Word, walking by faith, and becoming increasingly conscious of His presence in every part of our lives. Preached at Haenertsburg Christian Church in Haenertsburg, South Africa, this message reminds us that Christianity is not simply about knowing about God. We are called to know God, draw near to Him, hear His voice, trust Him, and live continually aware of His presence. 📖 Main Scriptures Exodus 20:18–21 Psalm 127:1–2 Hosea 4:6 Psalm 46:10 Daniel 11:32 Hebrews 11 Habakkuk 2:14 Galatians 6:7 This sermon will help you understand: What it means to practise the presence of the Lord Why Moses drew near while others stood at a distance Why knowing God is essential to spiritual strength How to become still before God Why everything we build without God is ultimately in vain The danger of spiritual ignorance How faith enables us to walk with the invisible God Why knowing God produces spiritual strength How God's Word shapes our relationship with Him Why what we sow spiritually will eventually produce a harvest How the knowledge of God's glory will fill the earth How to cultivate a daily awareness of God's presence Topics Covered 🔥 Drawing Near to the Presence of God 📖 Exodus 20:18–21 — Moses Drew Near to God 🏠 Psalm 127:1–2 — Unless the Lord Builds the House 📚 Hosea 4:6 — My People Are Destroyed for Lack of Knowledge 🙏 Psalm 46:10 — Be Still and Know That I Am God ⚔️ Daniel 11:32 — The People Who Know Their God Shall Be Strong ❤️ Knowing God Personally 🔥 Hebrews 11 — Living and Walking by Faith 🌍 Habakkuk 2:14 — The Knowledge of the Glory of the Lord 🌱 Galatians 6:7 — Whatever a Man Sows, He Will Reap 🕊️ Practising God's Presence Every Day Key Scriptures 📖 Exodus 20:18–21 📖 Psalm 127:1–2 📖 Hosea 4:6 📖 Psalm 46:10 📖 Daniel 11:32 📖 Hebrews 11:1–6 📖 Hebrews 11:27 📖 Hebrews 11:33–34 📖 Habakkuk 2:14 📖 Galatians 6:7 Final Truth God does not call us merely to know about Him. He calls us to know Him. Moses refused to remain at a distance. He drew near to God. The people who truly know their God will be strong. Faith teaches us to live as though the invisible God is more real than everything we can see around us. 🔥 Be still and know that He is God. 🔥 Draw near to His presence. 🔥 Know your God. 🔥 Walk by faith. 🔥 Practise His presence every day.
