Wisdom from Heaven

Wisdom from Heaven | James 3:13–4:6 In this message, Ben explores James’ teaching on wisdom. James shows that wisdom is not just about knowing the right information, but about the kind of life we live. Earthly wisdom: Bitter envy, selfish ambition, boasting, and selfish desire bring disorder, division, and evil. Heavenly wisdom: The wisdom from God is pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and sincere. More grace: Even when we choose the world instead of God, He gives more grace and calls us back to Himself. This passage reminds us that we cannot live both for God and for the world. But God’s grace is greater than our sin, and He gives us what we need to live according to His wisdom.
