Wicked Curtain Call and Exit Music — NYC Summer 2024

My fourth time seeing Wicked but the first in 15 years! Also the closest seat I’ve had. This is still one of my all-time favorites but it has fallen slightly in my rankings. While the bangers are absolutely phenomenal, there’s more filler than I previously admitted and the ensemble just isn’t given enough to *do*. It is a great great great musical, but I’d put it in A tier down from S if I’m being honest. Nothing against this cast, who was wonderful! I’m talking purely score.
