(Velair) Goodwind Pebble at Esso (operated by ASDA - ex-EG Group) - Eye Green, Peterborough - 🚻♿️

Here we have a Pebble at what was an EG Group petrol station, however has since been operationally taken over by ASDA due to EG Group being run into the floor and now ceasing to exist in the UK (thanks ‪@handdryersbyn1769‬ for confirming). This site received an extension to house Greggs and moderate refurbishment in 2017, with the toilet also being given a low-spec refit during this. It seems like an Ultronic would've originally been fitted, however that was replaced with a Pebble a few years ago. The shop was rebranded to ASDA in 2024, with some minor site refurb work happening during this, like the automatic swing doors on the entrance being replaced with sliding ones. Whilst EG gave this site a refurb 2017, they initially obtained it from Esso in 2012, leaving it with presumably some of the old styling in areas like the toilet for a few years. Esso are the earliest operator visible on Google Street View, however the building design absolutely screams MRH, so they most likely built this in the 2000s before selling it off to Esso shortly after. I would expect that there was a Model A here prior to the 2017 EG refurb. There is also a Starbucks opposite this which is strangely part of a Travelodge building, with this also being under EG Group before then being spun off to EGspresso, so there are likely Pebbles in this too, unless any Ultronics remain.
