Sophitia Story Playthrough | Soulcalibur III

It has been a couple of years since I last played one of my favorite fighting games in Soulcalibur III, so I decided to give the game a quick spin as an excuse to check out the latest version of PCSX2 which went through a major design overhaul since the last time I used the emulator on my old PC before I replaced it. In this video, I do a quick playthrough of the Tales of Souls mode for Sophitia as we go through her quest to find the accursed sword Soul Edge while testing the PCSX2 video settings. I always enjoyed the Tales of Souls mode for its presentation as it tells the story for each of the characters while providing some replay value with its path choices, cut scenes, and easter eggs. Revisiting these old games recently made me wish for the days when these games actually had single player content to play which is how I originally fell in love with the series with Soul Blade back in the 90s. So much of the content that was put into this game did not make its way over to Soulcalibur IV when it was developed for whatever reason.
