TRU UPDATE 🏗 Prep for four-tracking in full swing east of Huddersfield 👷‍♀️

The Transpennine Route Upgrade saw the closure of the line in the Huddersfield area over the weekend. At Red Doles Junction and Old Fieldhouse Lane, work on the trackbed was taking place to prepare for four-tracking. The A62 Leeds Road bridge was closed for the weekend for TRU works, necessitating the temporary reopening of Colne Bridge Road. #transpennineexpress #trainspotting #trainspotter #trains #railway #engineering #construction
