Saul and the Witch of Endor | Powerful Sermon on Witchcraft, Disobedience & Spiritual Darkness

*SAUL AND THE WITCH OF ENDOR — A POWERFUL WARNING FROM THE WORD OF GOD!* What happens when a man who once knew the voice of God turns away from obedience and seeks answers from the very darkness God commanded him to reject? In **1 Samuel 28**, King Saul, desperate for answers after the Lord no longer responded to him, sought out the witch of Endor. What followed became one of the most sobering accounts in the Old Testament. This powerful sermon addresses a biblical account that every Christian should carefully consider, especially in a world where witchcraft, occult practices, spiritual deception, and the celebration of darkness have become increasingly normalized. *God never called His people to fellowship with darkness. He called us to walk in His marvelous light!* 📖 *1 Samuel 28:7 (KJV)* "Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her." 📖 *Ephesians 5:11 (ESV)* "Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them." 📖 *Deuteronomy 18:10–12* — God's warning against divination, witchcraft, and consulting familiar spirits. *This is more than an ancient story. It is a warning about disobedience, spiritual compromise, and the danger of seeking answers outside the will of God.* As Christians, we must examine everything in the light of Scripture and refuse to compromise biblical truth for cultural acceptance. *ALL POWER AND AUTHORITY BELONG TO JESUS CHRIST!* --- *EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES & SERMON CREDIT* This sermon is not an original sermon by Pastor J. or The New Hope Project Inc.
