New Bike Day | Trek Checkpoint SL6 | My First Time Doing Gravel

I’ve spent the last few years obsessed with road cycling, watts, speed and climbing… so what happens when you give me a Trek Checkpoint SL 6 and send me off-road? Today I’m picking up the Trek Checkpoint SL 6 and taking it out for my first proper ride. This isn’t a full long-term review — it’s my first impressions of Trek’s gravel bike and an attempt to find out whether a dedicated road cyclist can actually get into gravel riding. From the Trek store PDI to the first ride, this is my first day with the Checkpoint. And honestly… I didn’t expect to enjoy it quite as much as I did.
