Morning Driving through Fog, Shk. Maktoum Bin Rashid Road - 4K Drive

There are many rules to follow during driving through fog: Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination. Make your vehicle visible to others both ahead of you and behind you by using your low-beam headlights since this means your taillights will also be on. Use fog lights if you have them. Never use your high-beam lights. All drivers are receiving sms emergency alert to all mobile phones with very annoying siren even if your phone is in silence it will give the siren also notifying the drivers to reduce the speed to 80km/hr To be honest this is very low speed on a wide high speed road like Shk. Maktoum Bin Rashid Rd. but it is a very safe and important way to have save drive. this is my first experience driving through the fog there was not much fog to be honest but we have to follow the rules. I could see some cars were driving with a higher speed than 80km/hr and reduce their speed just before the radar but their excuse was it was not that much foggy. it was wonderful experience to drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi through Shk.
