KroWod ᛭Duskward᛭ (Selfmade Tagelharpa/Frame Drum/Flute)

This song was inspired by the long nights after the winter solstice, when a darker atmosphere lingered on the brink of twilight, overshadowing the days. Wayfaring towards dusk to embrace darkness and solitude, while keeping a dim flame alive...🔥 My personal four stringed Talharpa lent me its voice to compose this piece in late december, guiding me through the rough nights. Long hikes, the cold and cloudy weather accompanied by the faint glow of my old lantern provided me with inspiration for this piece I call "Duskward". I have played additional instruments like guitar, a slovakian flute, a selfmade frame drum, shakers and a plucked lyre. It is quite an endeavour to build bowed instruments, compose with them, record, edit, mix and master the music. Onwards to write a storyboard, prepare, film, direct, edit the material, colour-grade, etc...to finally be able to present a visual and audible story, that somehow brings forth fragments of my imagination...to briefly explain my slow pace...
