Welcom back to ATOMIC DIECAST! Today on the workbench a pile of Hotwheels Surfcrate parts 'get it on ' with an old Reader's Digest Model T.
Hunker down for a step by step, spring loaded, mechanically suspended, fully rebuildable, nearly glueless ride-along as I cut, drill, and file my way to a custom 1/64th scale diecast HotRod.
I'll engineer a split chassis hinge from the Surfcrate base using an axle as the pin, and spring load it using a GUITAR STRING! I'll also use a sharpie to recreate BRASS from a polished diecast part, and finish it all off with some wheel swapping just for fun.
Drop a comment letting me know what you think of the build and which wheels you think look the best!
