2023 Mammoth Gran Fondo

Mammoth Gran Fondo 2023 - September 9 2023 Mammoth Lakes, California 102 Miles 6,643 ft. of climbing The rain and wind made this year's Gran Fondo especially difficult, but it also set the stage for an epic challenge. With a beautiful sunrise and voluminous clouds the whole way, it turned out to be one of the finest days on a bicycle I've ever experienced. My goal was to finish under 6 hours, however the torrential rain and constant headwind had other plans for me. I still had an amazing time and am thankful for the race organizers for not cancelling the event, for it made me a better cyclist.
