Experience an ultra-realistic, multi-camera 3D reconstruction of the tragic and catastrophic crash of UPS Airlines Flight 2976. On November 4, 2025, a McDonnell Douglas MD-11F (Registration N259UP) was initiating its takeoff roll at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF). Just at the moment of rotation, the left engine (No. 1) and its pylon violently separated from the wing due to structural failure, igniting a massive fire. This simulation visualizes the incredibly short and fatal flight. Reaching a maximum altitude of only 30 feet, the heavy cargo jet was unable to maintain flight and impacted a UPS warehouse just past the runway, resulting in total destruction. In this video: Multi-Angle Perspectives: Watch the disaster unfold from ground surveillance, external tracking cameras, and various other angles to understand the scale of the event. Ultra-Realistic VFX: Advanced VDB fluid simulations were used to accurately recreate the intense fire and smoke dynamics during the engine separation and ground impact. Flight Facts: Flight: UPS Airlines Flight 2976 Aircraft: Boeing / McDonnell Douglas MD-11F Location: Louisville, KY (SDF) Cause: Engine separation on takeoff (Fatigue cracks in the pylon aft mount lugs)
