Самые быстрые пловцы на 50 м вольным стилем по годам 1976–2026

Welcome to Wolf Data, from 1976 to 2026, the men's 50m freestyle evolved into one of the most explosive events in competitive swimming, with athletes pushing the limits of human speed over a single pool length. Early pioneers such as Jonty Skinner, Joe Bottom, Chris Cavanaugh, and Matt Biondi helped establish the event, while legendary sprinters including Tom Jager, Alexander Popov, Roland Schoeman, Frédérick Bousquet, César Cielo, Florent Manaudou, Caeleb Dressel, Ben Proud, and Cameron McEvoy defined later generations. In 2009, Brazil's César Cielo set an extraordinary world record of 20.91 seconds, which remained unbeaten for more than 16 years. On March 20, 2026, Australia's Cameron McEvoy finally broke that historic record, swimming 20.88 seconds at the China Swimming Open in Shenzhen. This 1976–2026 timeline follows the fastest male 50m freestyle swimmers of each year, showcasing five decades of improvements in sprint technique, explosive power, swimming technology, training methods, and world-class competition. 🏊‍♂️⚡🌍 ⛲Sources: ▫️World Aquatics – Swimming Records ▫️USA Swimming Historical Record Progressions ▫️International Long-course Swimming Results 💻Editor: ▫️Filmora 🖼️Thumbnails: ▫️Canva Swimmers featured in the video: Jonty Skinner Joe Bottom Ron Manganiello Klaus Steinbach Joe Bottom Robin Leamy Ang Peng Siong Kevin DeForrest * Tom Jager * Tom Jager Matt Biondi Tom Jager Matt Biondi Tom Jager Tom Jager Matt Biondi Alexander Popov Alexander Popov Alexander Popov Alexander Popov Alexander Popov Alexander Popov Fernando Scherer Pieter van den Hoogenband Brendon Dedekind Alexander Popov Anthony Ervin Alexander Popov Alexander Popov Gary Hall Jr. Roland Schoeman Cullen Jones Cesar Cielo Eamon Sullivan Cesar Cielo Frederick Bousquet Cesar Cielo Florent Manaudou Cesar Cielo Florent Manaudou Florent Manaudou Florent Manaudou Caeleb Dressel Ben Proud Caeleb Dressel Caeleb Dressel Caeleb Dressel Caeleb Dressel Cameron McEvoy Cameron McEvoy Cameron McEvoy Cameron McEvoy
