This video contains two matches I had with the buffed LV1 RF Gouf on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 600 cost raid with amazing melee damage, great mobility, access to two heat rod style weapons, access to a very powerful heavy attack, good durability alongside great stagger accumulation. Its weaknesses include having short range, long recovery time on beam rod swings and the heavy attack having quite short reach. I hope that you enjoy watching! This suit was buffed at the end of June 2026 with 25000/27000 HP depending on suit level, LV4 Maneuver Armor at 650 cost, 2%x5 stagger value for the machine gun, 2 seconds beam sword cooldown time, 7 seconds vulcan reload time, 33% beam launcher heat rate alongside a 3 round burst for the beam launcher (up from 2). Its primary weapon is a 5 barrel machine gun with 90x5x12 power, 60 ammo, 440 RPM, 8 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 300m range, 3300 DPS and 2%x5x12 stagger value. This works very similarly to the salvo machine gun on the M'Quve Gouf, it has low stagger power, but incredible DPS. Its primary melee weapon is a beam sword with 2600 power, 2 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time, 2 seconds focus time, 70%/49% combo modifier and 250%x2 heavy attack modifier. This has a similar swing pattern to the Gouf VD, except for the downswing being single hit rather than two hit. It is easy to get knockdowns with this after a stun or beam rod attack. The heavy attack is relatively slow and has short reach, but it has absolutely absurd power, Its first sub weapon is a head vulcan gun with 100 power, 60 ammo, 600 RPM, 7 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 200m range, 1000 DPS and 7% stagger value. This has pretty good DPS and can stagger in just 1.5 seconds. Its second sub weapon is a beam rod with 2350 power, 3 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time, 100m range, 130% side swing modifier and 250% downswing modifier. This shares the same moveset as the original Gouf's heat rod, you can swing it in any direction. Neutral and side swings are a normal stagger. The downswing does incredible damage, but suffers from long recovery time, making it risky to use willy nilly. Its third sub weapon is a beam bazooka with 1400x3 power, 33%x3 heat, 2 seconds cooldown, 10 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 400m range, 0.8 seconds focus time and 50%x3 stagger value. This must focus before firing, but it fires three shots in a row that instantly stagger and have high stun accumulation. This makes it very versatile, being useful for stun into melee, for anti-air, or even just for mid-range DPS. Its fourth sub weapon is an electrified beam rod with 2700 power, 6 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time and 100m range. Unlike the regular beam rod, this has longer cooldown and can only neutral swing, but it benefits from high damage and the ability to heavy stagger enemies upon hit. The LV1 RF Gouf has 25000 HP, 20 ballistic/beam resist and 30 melee resist. It has high HP despite being on the small side, making it quite durable. It benefits from having both LV2 Emergency Evasion and LV3 Maneuver Armor for defensive skills, alongside it also having a 25% damage reduction legs buffer. In terms of mobility it has 135 (138 including affinity) walk speed, 225 boosting speed, 75 thrust and 78 (84 including affinity) turning speed. It is pretty fast for a 600 cost raid, even faster than it first appears because of it having ground affinity, LV3 Forced Injector and LV3 Flight Control. It also benefits from LV2 Power Accelerator, LV2 Heavy Attack and LV1 Pursuit Aux. Melee Program, the latter of which increases melee damage dealt by 15% when attacking knocked over enemies. In conclusion, I feel that while the RF Gouf was far from a bad suit before the buff, these changes help it to keep up with the changing meta. They weren't earth shattering, but it got enough QoL changes to still be a pretty good option. It seemingly has few bad match-ups now, as it is highly durable, has good anti-air options, can swing the heat rod to stagger Hajiroboshi, can shoot at supports from a distance with the beam launcher+machine gun combo, and can deal high damage even to generals with its melee combos. In the end, I would still personally prefer to play something more specialized, like the Shokew, but you can't go wrong with the RF Gouf if you want a generalist raid that gives you enough wiggle-room to make mistakes. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it! Music used: Street Fighter EX2 plus, Green Shower Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2, A Good Thing is Possible
