Kolkata to Siliguri by Volvo Sleeper bus | বাস থেকে কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা দেখলাম | Sikkim vlog part-1

Hello, Welcome back to our channel. This is the first video of our Sikkim series where we have travelled from Kolkata to Siliguri by sleeper volvo 9600S, service provided by Loknath Bus Service. We have booked the ticket through Redbus app at the last moment. This is an excellent alternative to train travel to New Jalpaiguri from Kolkata. As we booked at the last moment with flexible dates option, price was a bit on the higher side, around Rs. 3000 one way per head. If you plan ahead, you can get sleeper tickets to Siliguri from Kolkata within Rs. 2k - 2.2k. Departure time: 6.45PM from Esplanade Bus Stand, Kolkata. Arrival time: 8AM next day at Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand, Siliguri. Route via Sealdah, Manicktala, Kankurgachi, VIP Road Lake Town, Airport 1 no gate, Madhyamgram, Barasat, Krishnanagar then NH34 to Dalkhola, Islampur, Siliguri. Journey takes approximately 13 hrs 15 mins. This is the latest model of Volvo, the 9600S. Loknath Bus Service is one of the service providers, others being Express Line, Shyamoli Paribahan, Royal Cruiser, Greenline, etc. The only drawback by travelling on these long distance buses is the toilet facilit. This has to be done when the bus stops at designated highway stops, mainly at Krishnanagar and Dalkhola while going towards Siliguri.
