THE 2026 EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH - 20th National Women's Conference

Keeping the Fire Burning: Lutheran Mothers Gather in Port Moresby for the 20th National Women’s Conference! 🇵🇬✨Today marks a beautiful and powerful milestone as the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Papua New Guinea (ELC-PNG) kicks off its 20th National Women’s Conference right here in Port Moresby! From the highlands of Simbu and Eastern Papua to the shores of the New Guinea Islands, our resilient and faithful Lutheran mothers have traveled by air, land, and sea to be a part of this historic event. For many, this trip required immense sacrifice, leaving behind homes and families to follow the call of fellowship, worship, and prayer.Historically, women were the very first to carry and proclaim the good news of the resurrection, and today, our mothers continue to be the "Salt and Light" of our communities, holding the core of the family unit together. This week is all about empowering our women and girls to keep the church’s mission growing and alive.Take a look at these wonderful moments caught on camera today! Let us hold all our mothers and the hosting Papua District in our prayers for a safe, blessed, and transforming conference week.To God be the ultimate glory! 🙌❤️🙏#ELCPNG #WomensConference2026 #LutheranMothers #PortMoresby #FaithInAction #Fellowship
