General Principles of Cell Communication & Forms of Intracellular Signalling | Lecture 11 | Contact-Dependent, Paracrine, Synaptic & Endocrine Signalling | Human Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology-I | BP104T | B.Pharmacy 1st Semester | PCI & NEP 2020
In this lecture, we will study the General Principles of Cell Communication and Forms of Intracellular Signalling as part of Human Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology-I (BP104T) for B.Pharmacy 1st Semester according to the PCI syllabus and NEP 2020. This lecture focuses on the fundamental mechanisms through which cells communicate with one another and coordinate physiological functions. The major forms of cell communication covered in this lecture include Contact-Dependent signalling, Paracrine signalling, Synaptic signalling and Endocrine signalling.
Cell communication is an essential physiological process that allows cells to receive, transmit and respond to signals. Understanding these signalling mechanisms provides an important foundation for studying human physiology, cellular regulation, tissue coordination and the functioning of different organ systems. This lecture explains the major forms of intercellular communication in a simple, systematic and examination-oriented manner.
This lecture is specially designed for B.Pharmacy 1st Semester students studying Human Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology-I and is useful for university examination preparation, revision and conceptual understanding of cellular communication and signalling mechanisms.
