Subwoofer Test — 0 to 150 Hz Linear Sweep | Frequency Shown On Screen This is a 10-minute continuous sine-wave sweep that rises smoothly from 0 Hz to 150 Hz. The current frequency is displayed in real time on screen, so you can follow along and identify exactly where your subwoofer, room, or headphones respond — and where they roll off. What you can use it for: • Finding the tuning frequency and usable low-end extension of a subwoofer or speaker • Spotting room resonances, rattles, and buzzing objects (furniture, doors, panels, light fixtures) • Checking the low-frequency response of headphones, earbuds, and car audio systems • Hearing the limits of your own hearing at the bottom of the spectrum • Subwoofer break-in / exercise of the driver suspension Timeline / frequency markers (linear sweep, +0.25 Hz per second): 0:00 — 0 Hz (start) 0:40 — 10 Hz 1:20 — 20 Hz (feel-it-in-your-chest territory) 2:00 — 30 Hz 2:40 — 40 Hz 3:20 — 50 Hz 4:00 — 60 Hz (typical subwoofer crossover region) 5:20 — 80 Hz 6:40 — 100 Hz 8:00 — 120 Hz 10:00 — 150 Hz (end) ⚠️ Warnings: • This test contains very low frequencies and high-level sine tones — play it at a moderate volume first. • Protect your hearing and your equipment: don't run at maximum level for the full 10 minutes, especially near the driver's limits. • Very low frequencies can cause woofer over-excursion; reduce volume if you hear distortion or popping. Use headphones or a proper subwoofer system for the best low-frequency reproduction. Phone and laptop speakers will not reproduce most of this range.
