[Fall Down] — an original song from Vex Verse, a surreal experimental-pop album inspired by Tally Hall, Miracle Musical and Hawaii: Part II. Written by espsiongold2  Sang by espsiongold2 artymarcy and various family members  I died three times. I survived three cardiac arrests, woke up with a brain injury, and music helped keep me alive. This album is what came out of it. In December 2023, I went into hospital with pneumonia and sepsis. I suffered three cardiac arrests and was clinically dead for more than 30 minutes in total before being placed in a drug-induced coma. When I woke up, everything had changed. I was left dealing with the effects of hypoxic brain injury — slurred speech, memory problems, balance and coordination difficulties, exhaustion, and a life that suddenly didn't feel like the one I'd had before. Instead of getting clear answers, I spent years fighting to understand what had happened to me. Some of my symptoms were repeatedly attributed to alcohol use while I was trying to get the neurological and cardiac consequences properly recognised and investigated. Through the confusion, the memory gaps and the moments when I felt like I was unravelling, music was the one thing I could keep coming back to. It gave me somewhere to put everything I couldn't explain. It helped hold me together when I felt unheard. Vex Verse is that story — the fear, the anger, the absurdity, the damage, the doubt, and the slow road back to myself. Some songs are serious, some are strange, some are deliberately ridiculous, but every one of them came from something I was trying to survive, understand or turn into something meaningful. If you've ever felt broken, unheard, misunderstood, or like nobody could see the real you, these songs are for you too. Thank you for listening. It genuinely means a lot. 🎵 Stream Vex Verse: https://open.spotify.com/artist/4o4fC... Vex Verse was heavily inspired by the strange, theatrical, unpredictable side of Tally Hall, especially Miracle Musical and Hawaii: Part II. I love music that can sound funny, unsettling, emotional, ridiculous and beautiful all in the same song — where the lyrics can suddenly bend, the structure can break, and a joke can turn into something serious without warning. This album takes that kind of surreal, experimental pop energy and filters it through my own experiences with memory, identity, illness, recovery and trying to make sense of things that stopped making sense. If you like Tally Hall, Miracle Musical, Hawaii: Part II, surreal indie pop, theatrical art-pop, strange concept albums and songs that don't always behave themselves, you’ll probably understand what I was going for here. #TallyHall #MiracleMusical #HawaiiPartII #ExperimentalPop #ArtPop #IndiePop #SurrealMusic #ConceptAlbum #PsychedelicPop #TheatricalPop #AlternativePop #QuirkyMusic #WeirdMusic #IndieMusic #VexVerse Tally Hall inspired, Tally Hall style, Miracle Musical inspired, Miracle Musical, Hawaii Part II inspired, Hawaii Part II, Hawaii Part 2, experimental pop, surreal pop, art pop, theatrical pop, psychedelic indie pop, quirky indie music, strange music, weird indie music, concept album, surreal concept album, alternative pop, indie art pop, Vex Verse, Charlie Maze Music, espsiongold2
