CTCRC Snetterton 300 2026 : Will Hunt Ford Fiesta ST

Race Report : Snetterton Well race 1 went ok, i started 2nd in Class and 20th overall. In the lap 1 madness made it up to 1st but couldn't hold it. Pushing hard on my new setup, i felt the driveshaft bottom out and backed off when i realised that 1st was not attainable. I finished 2nd in class and 15th overall. 2nd race was frustrating, i went in confident believing i had ironed out the issues which made Oulton parks wet race a disaster. Unfortunately i soon learned that wet racing tyres loose the softness that makes them potent in the rain after sitting around for 10 years. Racing on a budget is tough and tyres have been a nemesis for me this year. I finished last in class on 2nd from last overall. On the whole, not a bad result. We brought 3 vehicles and all 3 made it home fully functioning which certainly an improvement on the last few ventures to Snetterton. A brilliant weekend of fun with friends. On the points, it looks like im far behind now, and with only 1 round to go its going to be tough. There is still hope. 1 last desperate bit of hope. Ive saved my "Joker" round for the last race, where i can accumulate double point. Which means that there's a mathematical possibility that if i win both race, i could still win the championship.
