ED Raid On Satish Jarkiholi has created a major political and financial investigation buzz in Karnataka. The Enforcement Directorate has reportedly conducted searches at 21 locations linked to Karnataka Minister Satish Jarkiholi and his associates. The searches covered Bengaluru, Belagavi, Gokak and Kolkata, with the agency examining alleged irregularities connected to foreign investments and assets.According to the information released by the Enforcement Directorate, unaccounted cash worth around ₹3.3 crore was reportedly recovered during the searches. Foreign currency, including US dollars and euros, worth approximately ₹15 lakh was also seized. The action was carried out under provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), in connection with alleged irregularities involving foreign investments.The investigation also reportedly covered offices of Bharat Commerce Eastern and BVEPL, along with premises linked to their owners.
