What do you do with a decaying 1960s city ferry that has been rusting at a forgotten river dock for decades? The structural repair on this monumental vessel required cutting away collapsed metal ceilings and clearing heavy debris from the sunken vehicle decks. Once the heavy steel hull was stabilized, this property makeover turned an industrial shell into an ultra-modern floating retreat. The former car deck was completely transformed into a private indoor marina, bringing the river water directly inside the ship's architecture. Throughout this luxury interior design project, we preserved the original naval elements like the polished heavy watertight doors, contrasting them with aged copper fixtures and linear LED lighting. The old engine room was converted into an acoustic velvet home theater, while the high bow now houses the master suite, wrapped in the original inclined navigation glass.
