Virgin America Trip Report FLL-JFK

TRIP OVERVIEW Once I heard about the merger with Alaska, I knew I had to fly Virgin America at least once, and took the opportunity to do so by trying them out on the last day of their seasonal FLL-JFK flight! I flew Virgin America 500 up to JFK, and JetBlue 1201 on the way back (video trip report coming soon). I thoroughly enjoyed the Virgin America experience, and had a conversation with one of the cabin crew members. Once she realized that I was on that flight purely to fly on Virgin America, she and her colleagues made every opportunity to make my flight even more enjoyable- even giving me a few goodies to remember it by. The crew really made the difference on this flight, coupled with the awesome moodlighting and easy to use personal TVs. As a result, Virgin America, in this one flight alone, catapulted themselves to my number one favorite airline, tied with American.
