Disha Meeting Clash in Odisha as a district-level review meeting chaired by Koraput MP Saptagiri Sankar Ulaka reportedly witnessed a heated exchange involving Gunupur MLA Satyajit Gamang and Gunupur Municipality Vice-Chairman Siba Prasad Goud. The meeting reviewed the progress of Central schemes, development projects, infrastructure and welfare works in the district. The MLA raised issues including his absence from a municipal Self-Governance Day programme and the omission of the MLA and MP names from an inauguration plaque. He demanded action against the municipal executive officer and warned of a sit-in if the plaque was not removed. The municipal vice-chairman, meanwhile, alleged that the MLA was engaging in a publicity stunt instead of addressing people’s work.
