Classification of variables/scales of measurement/PSM/fmge /neetpg/COMMUNITY MEDICINE/BIOSTATISTICS

In this video I shall discuss about the remaining classifications of variables. Variables can be further classified into continuous and discreet variables. Continuous variables can take up many values and also have in-between values eg height, weight. Discrete variables have fewer values and no in-between values. Eg blood group, anemia. Scales of measurement are classified into 2 broader categories. Categorical scale and dimensional scale. Categorical scale is further classified into nominal scale and ordinal scale. Dimensional scale is further classified into metric scale.
