🌊 Barbados Needs a Bajan Diaspora Celebration Month | A Dual Citizen's Call to Action

We Gatherin' said come home. I did. And now that I'm here—dual citizen, Barbadian by descent, American by birth, living on this island by ancestral instruction...I have to be honest about what I found when I arrived: The welcome is warm. The infrastructure is not ready. Barbados invited the diaspora home. But there is no roadmap for what happens after you land. No clear pathway from visiting national to investing resident. No structured guide through the bureaucracy that every returning Bajan has to navigate alone. That's what I'm proposing to change. And, in this video, I'm laying out exactly what Bajan Diaspora Celebration Month in April 2027 could look like as an extension and amplification of the We Gatherin' movement. Because We Gatherin' is just the beginning. I know where the gaps are. And I know that a Bajan Diaspora Celebration Month—anchored in April 2027, formally proclaimed by the government, built around diaspora infrastructure, could change EVERYTHING for the hundreds of thousands of Bajans abroad who want to come home but don't know how. We are not visiting tourists. We are investing nationals.
