The Roots | Live Full Concert 5/24/2026 @ Atlanta Jazz Festival, Piedmont Park

Here is a live performance by the Roots from 2026 Atlanta Jazz Festival in Atlanta, GA on 5/24/2026. The band closed out the 2nd day of the festival. Their high energy performance captivated the audience despite the rain, and really brought the energy to the city. Hope you enjoy it!! I did the best I could with the setlist, but if wrong, please let me know. Also note that the stage cam goes out around the 47:32 mark. I did not realize that rain had damaged the USB cable, and it was not getting charged. 0) Start (00:00:00) 1) Intro (00:00:05) 2) Opener (00:01:17) 3) I Got My Mind Made Up (Instant Funk) (00:04:02) 4) Jungle Boogie (Kool & the Gang cover) (00:06:08) 5) Soul Makossa (Manu Dibango cover) (00:07:58) 6) Proceed (00:11:04) 7) Distortion to Static (00:14:30) 8) Think Twice (Donald Byrd cover) (00:16:50) 9) Lookin' at the Front Door (Main Source cover) (00:20:05) 10) Step Into the Realm (00:25:45) 11) What They Do (00:28:47) 12) The Next Movement (00:31:23) 13) Act Too (The Love Of My Life) (00:35:02) 14) Clones (00:38:20) 15) Change (Makes You Want to Hustle) (Donald Byrd) (00:42:21) 16) Web (00:46:36) 17) Dance Girl (The Fatback Band) (00:50:25) 18) Here I Come (00:54:48) 19) Gimme Some More (The J.B.’s) (00:59:58) 20) You Got Me ^ (01:08:49) 21) The Seed (2.0) (01:24:52) 22) Move On Up ^^ (Curtis Mayfield) (01:26:24) 23) Men at Work (Kool G Rap & DJ Polo) (01:31:42) ^ w/ guitar solo ^^ w/ drum solo James Poyser (keys) Ian Hendrickson-Smith (sax) Dave Guy (trumpet) Damon Bryson (tuba) Thaddeus Tribbett (bass) Stro Elliot (keys/percussion) Kamal Gray (keys/voclas) Kirk Lloyd Douglas (guitar/vocals) Questlove (drums/vocals) Black Thought (Tariq Trotter) (vocals)
