K1 Fun Race. Qualified 3rd Finished 5th. 29th August '26

K1 had no brakes so it was going to be difficult to race, but gave everything to qualify 3rd. The top 4 were dropped to the back of the grid, meaning I started on the back row effectively last. Didn't have enough speed to gain anything off the grid. Pitted as early as I could, losing a bit of time with a few laps behind traffic. Was unlucky to come out just as Dave was leaving, missing my chance to make up a place. Then enjoyed watching the battle unfold as we chased down those in front of us. After a messy dress rehearsal Dave made a pass but I didn't have the speed or time left in the race to gain any further places. Fun race and well done to all especially the Marshalls for running it 👍🏁😎
