Mystery Muralitharan Doosra takes 10/118! Clueless New Zealand lost by 217 at Home to Sri Lanka 2006

Sri Lankan stalwart Muttiah Muralitharan ran through New Zealand to claim 10 wickets for 118 in the match to reel them to 217 run defeat in Wellington 2006. Murali was at his best with the Doosra in his armoury bamboozling the black caps. Lasith Malinga was equally lethal and was also supported by brilliant batting of Kumar Sangakkara and Chamara Silva. Murali was also unfortunate not to have Shane Bond given out to a straight forward chance at Silly Point. Muralitharan went on to claim his 5th 10fer in 6 matches and 90 test wickets during the calendar year of 2006!
