Our First Time in SAVANNAH, GEORGIA 🇺🇸

📍Savannah, Georgia 🇺🇸 We spent our first day wandering beneath the live oaks, getting lost between the city squares, the old storefronts of City Market and the faded facades that have watched generations come and go. We ate oysters at Sorry Charlie's, walked the riverfront where cargo ships slide past like floating apartment blocks, and stopped to talk with the people who call this city home. Their stories gave the place far more character than any guidebook ever could. Later we crossed onto Tybee Island. Salt marshes stretched out in every direction before giving way to the Atlantic. We swam in the warm sea, pulled up a stool at Doc's Bar, the island dive that's been pouring drinks since 1948, and spent the afternoon talking with locals who'd seen Tybee change without ever really losing its soul. The day ended the only way it should have. A Lowcountry Boil at the legendary Crab Shack, newspaper on the table, seafood piled high, cold drinks and no reason to rush anywhere.
