“Why does it seem like some Black foreigners come to America, benefit from the Black community, and then turn around and criticize Black Americans? At what point do we start protecting our own spaces?” In this episode of Tony Unscripted, I’m talking about something that keeps coming up: Black foreigners publicly criticizing Black Americans. Should Black Americans continue welcoming everyone into our community, or should there be stronger boundaries when people disrespect the history, struggles, and culture of Black Americans? This isn’t about saying every Black immigrant thinks the same way. It’s about respect, accountability, and whether shared skin color automatically means shared community. What do you think?
