2SA 18 "THE SWORD OF DELIVERANCE" SERMON, PASTOR CHUCK TYREE, NORWICH ALLIANCE CHURCH, 10/18/26

Do you see justice as one-sided? The idea of many is that God will judge those I dislike and deliver those I like. But the truth is that the sword of justice is double-edged. It cuts both ways. My judgmental attitude can be as sinful as the injustice of my enemy. We tolerate sin in ourselves and in those we love rather than focusing on repentance. This chapter helps us find our mixed motives and mixed rewards in the justice and truth of God's deliverance.
