FAR CRY 5 - Grace Under Fire

Grace Under Fire is one of the most important early-game missions in Far Cry 5 because it unlocks Grace Armstrong, one of the best "Guns for Hire" (specifically a sniper) in the game. Mission Overview Region: Holland Valley (John’s Region) Location: Lamb of God Church Objective: Defend the three mausoleums from cultists. Step-by-Step Walkthrough 1. Secure the Perimeter When you first arrive at the Lamb of God Church, there will be a handful of cultists outside. Clear them out and head to the church tower to speak with Grace. She’ll task you with helping her defend the graveyard. 2. Defend the Mausoleums This is a wave-based defense mission. There are three mausoleums (Central, East, and South) that the cultists will try to blow up. Watch the Health Bars: Each mausoleum has its own health bar at the top of your screen. If any one of them is destroyed, you fail. Pick Your Vantage Point: You can stay up in the tower with Grace to snipe, but it's often more effective to move around on the ground. The cultists come from the woods and the main road in vehicles. 3. The Final Wave (Heavies) The final push includes Flamethrower Heavies. Strategy: Do not let them get close to the mausoleums, or they will melt the health bars in seconds. Weak Spot: Aim for the yellow pressurized tanks on their backs. One well-placed shot will cause them to explode. 4. Talk to Grace Once the waves are cleared, Grace will climb down from the tower. Speak to her to finish the mission. Pro-Tips for Success Avoid Explosives: Be very careful with grenades or dynamite near the mausoleums. You can accidentally destroy them yourself! Use the Church Roof: If you need a breather, the roof provides excellent 360-degree visibility, though you'll need to jump down quickly if enemies start planting charges on the graves. Bring a Shotgun: While Grace covers the long range, a shotgun is incredibly effective for the cultists who try to rush the mausoleums. Once completed, you’ll get 600 Resistance Points and Grace will be added to your roster.
