35 fatalities, 50 still missing in MV June Aster blaze | 24 Oras Weekend

The death toll from the fire that engulfed MV June Aster off Coron, Palawan, has risen to 35. At least 50 people remain missing, while 43 survivors have been rescued. The 30 bodies recovered from the vessel have been brought down for processing and identification. Officials say more human remains are seen in the wreckage.
