Flying GA to South America | Scouting Trip Vlog – Legs #3 & #4

The journey to South America continues! ✈️🌎 Join the International Air Rally team as we continue our General Aviation scouting trip through the Caribbean and toward South America, preparing the route and destinations for an upcoming Air Rally adventure. In this episode, we cover Legs #3 and #4, departing Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (MDJB) for Fort-de-France, Martinique (TFFF) before continuing south to Piarco, Trinidad (TTPP). After some challenges getting the correct IFR routing for our flight to Martinique, we decided to go VFR, giving us more flexibility to maintain visual conditions and navigate around weather after departure. We climbed to 12,500 ft, enjoying some incredible views along the way while continuing our journey south.
