Set on a private 40-acre peninsula overlooking Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill Inn is centered around the historic Agassiz Mansion, originally commissioned and built in 1875 by Harvard marine biologist Alexander Agassiz. During my stay, I had the opportunity to experience one of their beach cottages, complete with a private patio, direct beach access, complimentary afternoon tea, sunset cocktails on the lawn, and a quiet evening walk to the Castle Hill Lighthouse.
